Cathy Spear, LICSW, received her BA from Smith College and her MSW from Simmons School of Social Work in 1976. Ms. Spear has an interactive and energetic approach, encouraging clients to explore their curiosity into challenging personal patterns and sources of conflict, thereby accessing motivation for change. In addition to her individual work around depression and anxiety with late adolescents and adults of all ages, Ms. Spear specializes in both long and short-term treatment with couples, including premarital, marital, and separation/divorce work.
