Maryanne Colleran Bowe received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology and social work from the University of Rochester and Boston College, respectively. Prior to becoming an affiliated clinician with Colony Care Behavioral Health, she worked as a school counselor for many years. Maryanne also worked as a therapist in a residential program, an outpatient clinic, and in private practice. She utilizes a client-centered approach and believes in utilizing strengths to find hope and solutions that work for each client.
Maryanne works with children, adolescents, college students, adults, and families. Her many years of experience as a school counselor enable her to be particularly helpful with school issues, parenting support and interpersonal relationships. Maryanne is proactive, culturally sensitive and enjoys working with all genders. She is experienced with a wide range of presenting problems, including ADHD, adjustment issues, self-esteem, stress, anxiety disorders and mood disorders.
