Jessie Harper, LMHC

I look forward to creating a safe space to help you learn more about yourself, the ones you love, and the world around you. You want to feel better but may not quite know how. I’ll listen and guide you towards finding, exploring, and honing the strengths and abilities you already possess – even the ones you’re not aware of! No two people are the same, and their journey towards self-actualization echoes this. I’d love to help you put the pieces together!

I have an academic background in psychology and criminal justice, attained my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William James College, and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts. I have served a diverse population with a wide range of ages, identities, experiences, and presenting problems in both community and forensic settings. My strengths lie in utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic frameworks, though I use a wide range of modalities to aid in collaboration and increase treatment efficacy. I value a Person-Centered and Trauma-Informed approach to my work; a positive therapeutic relationship is paramount in developing trust with your therapist and within yourself. I look forward to meeting you!
